dns323-firmware-tools software package provides build and manipulate firmware images for a range of NAS devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dns323-firmware-tools
dns323-firmware-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dns323-firmware-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dns323-firmware-tools *
You will get with dns323-firmware-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
